Laura is a lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, with an emphasis on labor and business law. During her college attendance, she focused on researching current legal issues. She was a member of the Labor Law Observatory of the same university. This Observatory is part of the Excellence in Justice Corporation. In her professional practice, she has focused on providing business-related labor advice on individual labor law, collective labor law, social security law matters, and namely, on issues related with Colombian immigration advice.

- Monitor of the labor settlements module for the undergraduate program of the Legal Assistance Office of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota between 2021 and 2022.
